HEY, THERE!

WANT TO SEE MY RESUME? IT'S HERE:

Hello! I'm Matthew. I conduct the orchestra for musicals; I play the piano; I work with singers; I write songs. I grew up listening to Bach organ fugues on cassette tape, Judy Garland on vinyl, and Queen on my walkman. I opted for a music degree over a degree in computer science. I've never looked back.

I LOVE EMAIL.

Fill out the form below to send me one.

Or, if you prefer, you can contact my agent, Penny. All of her information is further down.

The band, conducted by Matthew Smedal, smokes.

My writing partner, Liz Rossi, and I are adapting Shannon Hale's stunning 2003 novel "The Goose Girl" into a stage show.  It's a Grimm fairy tale that's a *little* more HBO-than-Disney. So buckle up.
Check out our show's website to see all that we're up to.
